PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gripping jig that can easily set a bar-like gripped member having a different diameter. SOLUTION: The gripping jig 1 including a box-like case 3 therein comprises; two griping members 4 gripping a bar-like gripped member by inserting and holding the gripped member in the recess; two operation axes 5 slidable in the direction to keep the two gripping members 4 apart, the operation axes connecting to the gripping members 4; and an elastic member 6 moving the two gripping members 4 in the direction to bring the two gripping members close. When the distance between the gripping faces 4s, 4s of the gripping members 4 is narrowed by being biased by the elastic member 6, the gripping members slide in the direction to be kept apart by operation of the operation axes 5, and after the gripped member is inserted between the gripping members 4, 4, the gripping members can grip the gripped member by stopping the operation of axes 5 and by being biased by the elastic member 6.
