The solar module (1) has planar insulating substrate that are interconnected to external connecting solar cells (3) over conductive track. The connecting contacts are provided for interconnection only one of two surfaces of solar cells. The insulating substrate is coated with isolating wiring film (5). The recesses (15) are formed in wiring film at the distant from the center of the respective solar cell such that distortion of the substrate during temperature changes is reduced while the temperature is reduced in relation to assembly temperature.
