PURPOSE: A non-volatile memory device, an operating method thereof, and a data processing system using the same are provided to program data at high speed because there is no need to define a separate section for a program with regard to a redundant area. CONSTITUTION: A main memory area (210) includes multiple banks. A redundant memory area is provided. Multiple global data lines exchange respective data of the multiple banks with the outside. One of the multiple global data lines is a common global data line commonly used for the redundant memory area. A controller (250) repairs a specific cell or a column of the main memory area to one of a cell or a column of the redundant memory area if defects are generated in the specific memory cell or the column of the main memory area.
