The control device (10) has a flexible partitioning element (16) which is wound with a winding shaft (18). A fastening element (20) fastens the fire and smoke control device at a building (14). An anchoring element (22) positively cooperates with the winding shaft when partitioning element is set in the protective assembly. The anchoring element comprises anchor portions (23-1,23-2) which are engaged with recessed portions (38-1,38-2) of winding shaft. An independent claim is included for building.
