<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem with an electronic program guide, wherein the user-friendliness of the guide is not always good to a viewer. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 11 includes a program guide display unit 88 for displaying the program guide in which program information is arranged in an area having a time axis and a channel axis on a display 14, and a cursor display unit 90 for displaying a cursor for making a user designate a program frame for displaying information of one program in the program guide.
