PURPOSE: A voice recognition additional service providing method and an apparatus applied to the same are provided to induce a service selection through a screen provision about a presented word which is predicted to be available in each situation and available functions in connection with a voice recognition service. CONSTITUTION: A contents configuring unit (420) obtains text information which corresponds to requested contents according to a contents request of a terminal device which is based on given screen contents. The contents configuring unit comprises screen contents based on the obtained text information. A contents providing unit (430) provides the screen contents to the terminal device in order to display text information which is included in provided screen contents in the terminal device. The contents providing unit controls a transmission time point to the terminal device about voice information in case the voice information which is mapped to the obtained text information exists.
