PURPOSE: A precise diameter measuring device using a laser irradiating device and a precise diameter measuring method are provided to substitute coordinates for a formula for precise measurement, thereby measuring a diameter of an object accurately, precisely, and rapidly. CONSTITUTION: A precise diameter measuring device(MA) using a laser irradiating device(10) comprises a CCD(Charge Coupled Device) camera(20) and a controller(30). The laser irradiating device irradiates laser beams to a measurement object twice. The laser irradiating device the laser beams at different portions of the measurement object. The CCD camera captures the laser beams reflected by the measurement object. The control unit controls the operation of the laser irradiating device and the CCD camera and extracts four coordinates in both end portions of the laser beams falling on the measurement objects by using photographed images. The control unit extracts four sets by selecting three coordinates among the four coordinates and calculates diameter of the measurement object by using the extracted four sets. |
