PURPOSE: An information processing device using a micro controller and a method thereof are provided to safely store important data by storing the important data in the micro controller actively performing intrusion detection. CONSTITUTION: Tamper sensors(111,121,131) sense tamper attempt and micro controllers(112,122,132) are connected with each other and overlap data to store the same. Backup battery units(113a,123a,133a) supply power to the micro controllers. When the tamper attempt is sensed, the data stored in the micro controllers is deleted. If the data is damaged, a micro controller receives the same data as the damaged data from another microcontroller to perform data recovery.
