FIELD: electricity.SUBSTANCE: electric motor braking apparatus has a switching circuit connected between a switch-on device and an electric motor, braking signal duration circuit, braking delay circuit, a device for converting alternating current to braking direct current. When the electric motor is switched on, current flows through closed contacts of the switching devices to the electric motor and the electric motor starts rotating. The braking signal duration circuit, which is made as an R-C circuit, is simultaneously charged and the braking delay circuit is switched on. When the electric motor is switched off, after the delay time, a braking duration signal switches on the switching circuit and direct voltage is applied across two motor windings. Said windings are simultaneously disconnected from the switch-on device of the electric motor. The braking delay circuit is made as an R-C circuit. The device for converting alternating current to direct current can be made from both a transformer circuit and with resistors.EFFECT: high reliability and enabling to switch on the motor right after it has been switched off.2 dwg |
