PURPOSE: A device and a method to increase the rotational speed for a machining process are provided to prevent a high pressure cooling fluid from leaking from a spindle assembly using an external rail of a front end bearing before the high pressure cooling fluid reaches a turbine. CONSTITUTION: A spindle assembly comprises a front end, a rear end, a rotary shaft, a bearing assembly, a turbine, and a plurality of paths. The bearing assembly includes a front end bearing assembly and a rear end bearing assembly. The bearing assembly supports the rotary shaft inside a tool holder and is formed to rotate the shaft at high speed inside the tool holder. The turbine is connected to be operated in the rotary shaft and is formed to rotate the rotary shaft. One or more bearings among the bearing assemblies are arranged in a part of the spindle assembly composed to be positioned in a space formed by a taper socket of the tool holder and a front clamping nut. |
