This biaxially oriented polyester film contains: (A) a polyester; (B) an aromatic polycarbodiimide having a weight average molecular weight of at least 10,000; and (C) a compound having a reactive group. The compound (C) having a reactive group is a compound having at least three hydroxyl groups in one molecule, a compound having an epoxy group, a compound having an amino group, or a compound having a carboxyl group. The biaxially oriented polyester film has superior hydrolysis resistance, favorably uniform film thickness, and favorable adhesion when pasted to another functional layer. |
