A WJP execution method for a reactor vessel lid, wherein an underwater environment is formed on the inner surface of the reactor vessel lid, an aerial environment is formed on the outer surface of the reactor vessel lid, and thereafter WJP is executed on the inner surface of the reactor vessel lid. Further, the reactor vessel lid is equipped with a waterproof jig which has a cylindrical shape extending on the outer surface side of the reactor vessel lid and constitutes a vessel with the reactor vessel lid as the bottom thereof, and is disposed in the water. Furthermore, the reactor vessel lid is disposed on a stand placed in the water. |
