The drilling process is stopped in the detection of signal. The transmitter is associated with a drill chuck (6) or a drilling machine (7) of a drilling device (1). The receiver is associated with the line network. The receiver is provided at a power plug (8) or an adapter. The power supply of the drilling device is interrupted in the detection of the signal by the receiver.
