PURPOSE: A data transmission and reception apparatus of a WSMP(Wave Short Message Protocol) and method thereof are provided to transmit mass data by simplifying the mass data in the WSMP. CONSTITUTION: A fragmentation transmission control unit(130) stores transmission data in a transmission buffer unit according to a transmission request. The fragmentation transmission control unit divides the stored transmission data into a fixed size. The fragmentation transmission control unit creates simplified information corresponding to the divided data. The fragmentation transmission control unit transmits the divided data and the simplified information. |
