PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine in which interphase insulation of terminal wires connected across a coil end can be carried out reliably in a stator.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine includes: a stator where a stator winding is placed in a plurality of slots of a stator core (412), and the inner peripheral side conductor terminal wire (212) and the outer peripheral side conductor terminal wire (211) of the stator winding are connected across a coil end (220) of the stator winding; and a rotor provided rotatably on the inside of the stator. The rotary electric machine further includes at least a first cylindrical insulation (132) provided between the outer periphery of the coil end (220) and the outer peripheral side conductor terminal wire (211), a second cylindrical insulation (131) provided between the inner periphery of the coil end and the inner peripheral side conductor terminal wire (212), and a ring-shaped insulation plate (133) provided to couple the axial ends of the first cylindrical insulation and second cylindrical insulation and covering the top of the coil end. |
