The safety device has a safety switch (1a,1b,1c,1d,1e) and an electric control unit (5a,5b,5c), by which the electric connection or partition is controlled between a vehicle consumer (2) and an electric storage unit (3,4). The partition and the renewed connection between the vehicle consumer and the electric storage unit are controlled by the electronic control device that is connected to the safety switch by a control line, when a vehicle accident occurs with predetermined magnitude. The control line of the safety switch is arranged between the vehicle consumer and the electric storage unit.
