PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable precisely and reproducibly switching of a chamber from a leaking configuration to a closing configuration.SOLUTION: A purge valve 1 is used for a pressure cooker and the valve is designed to discharge out from a cooking chamber the air that is initially contained in a cooking chamber. The purge valve has firstly a valve body 5 forming a seat 6, and secondly a moving and obturating element 7 designed to move from an opening configuration in which the element 7 is separated from the seat and which authorizes leak of a gas flow F from the chamber 4 to a closing configuration in which the element sealingly contacts the seat 6 and ensures sealing of the chamber. An elastic return unit 8 is included and arranged to stress the element 7 toward the opening configuration against the pressure. The production concerns particularly valves for domestic electric appliances. |
