PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and an image forming system which suppress the variation in expansion of each sheet left as it is after fixing due to the difference in moisture content of the sheet per unit weight.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an image formation part which forms a toner image so as to transfer it to a sheet; a fixing device 2 applying heat and pressure to the sheet to which the toner image has been transferred so as to fix the toner image on the sheet; a moisture content measuring device 26 measuring the moisture content of the sheet before the passage through the fixing device 2; and control means 100 for controlling the speed of conveyance of the sheet by the fixing device 2 in such a manner that the moisture content of the sheet after the passage through the fixing device 2 becomes equal to a predetermined moisture content according to the measurement result of the moisture content measuring device 26. |
