PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make waste of printing media and printing material as small as possible and to improve working efficiency in printing of an identification code.SOLUTION: A method for controlling a printing apparatus includes a printing part for printing an identification code, and an inspection part for inspecting the printed identification code includes an inspection step of allowing the inspection part to inspect whether the identification code printed on the printing medium can be read, and an external inspection step of allowing an external inspection device of the printing apparatus to carry out the inspection for the identification code determined as the one that can not be read in the inspection step. |
