PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen apparatus configured to stretch a screen openably/closably hooked to slidable hooks along a rail by a simple device so that a gap is not generated in an opening of a building as much as possible.SOLUTION: A rail 10 is installed in contact with an upper frame 2a of an opening frame 2 of a building, and provided with an engagement groove 12 for slidably engaging hooks 25 at the upper end of a screen 7. The rail has one side surface 11b located along the longitudinal direction of the rail and serving as a flat abutment surface with which the upper end of the screen 7 makes contact, and is fixed between right and left vertical frames 2b and 2c of the opening frame 2 of the building in a tensile manner by the biasing force of a spring 20 housed in the rail. The hook is configured such that a supporting portion 26 engaged with the engagement groove, is provided with an engagement hook 27 for hooking the upper end of the screen, and the front end of the engagement hook is extended to be continuously provided with a holding rod portion 28 for bringing the upper end of the screen into surface-contact with and along the abutment surface of the rail. |
