PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel in which backlash in a circumferential direction can be suppressed, excellent connection workability is achieved between a hub wheel and an outer joint member of a constant velocity universal joint, and an excellent maintenance property is obtained since the hub wheel can be separated from the outer joint member of the constant velocity universal joint.SOLUTION: A convex part which is formed to axially extend on one of an outer diameter surface of a shaft 12 of an outer joint member and an inner diameter surface of a hole 22 of a hub wheel 1 is press-fitted along the axial direction into the other to form a concave part which is tightly fitted to the convex part in the other by using the convex part to constitute a concavo-convex fitting structure M where the convex part and the concave part are tightly stuck over the whole fit-contact area. The concavo-convex fitting structure M allows separation between the concave and convex parts when an axial drawing force is imparted thereto. While the shaft is press-fitted, the hub wheel 1 and the shaft 12 of an outer ring 5 are fixed via a bolt coupling means M5 on a device axis core including a screw hole 50 and a bolt member 54 screwed with the screw hole 50. The bolt coupling means M5 includes a shaft press-fitted guide structure M3 to guide the bolt member 54 when press-fitted after separation again. |
