PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aneurysm treatment device which is configured in association with a method for treating an aneurysm via a blood vessel, which can effectively suppress an increase in internal pressure of an aneurysm and which can reduce an influence on surrounding tissue, and the aneurysm treatment method.SOLUTION: An aneurysm treatment device 10 includes: a linear shaft 12 with flexibility; an engagement part 14 which is connected to a tip part of the shaft 12 and which has at least one hook 24 capable of being engaged with an inner wall of an aneurysm and the vicinity of an opening thereof; and a disengagement mechanism 16 which disengageably connects the shaft 12 and the engagement part 14 together. The engagement part 14 has a spiral part 22 provided on the base end side of the hook 24. The hook 24 has a midway part bent, and has a sharp-pointed part 24a directed to the base end side of the engagement part 14. |
