The present invention comprises: a target composition ratio setting step of ascertaining a component of slag to be reduced and setting the target composition ratio after reduction; a composite reducing agent determination step of determining a mixing ratio and an injection amount of a composite reducing agent obtained by adequately mixing a plurality of reducing agents with the target composition ratio set at the target composition ratio setting step; and a slag reduction step of reducing slag by injecting, into the slag, the composite reducing agent of which the mixing ratio and injection amount are determined at the composite reducing agent determination step. Therefore, the reduction efficiency of slag is maximized, it is possible to effectively utilize various types of reducing agents, the recovery amount of valuable metals is increased, and costs are reduced by effectively utilizing a reducing agent when reducing slag.
