PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a back side of a recording sheet from being contaminated with toner, in forming an image on the whole surface of the recording sheet.SOLUTION: An image forming device includes: an intermediate transfer belt 25 on which toner images on a photoreceptor drum 15 are transferred in an overlapped manner; a secondary transfer roll 33 for transferring the toner images on the intermediate transfer belt 25 to a recording sheet 34; a cleaning blade 51 and a brush 52 for removing toner adhered on the secondary transfer roll 33; and a CPU 51 that controls image formation so as to set a first peripheral speed of the secondary transfer roll 33 when a first image formation mode is selected to form an image with margins formed in the recording sheet 34, and to set a second peripheral speed lower than the first speed when a second image formation mode is selected to form an image on the whole surface of the recording sheet 34. |
