PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a solidified body and a solidified body, reducing manufacturing costs and materials management costs by increasing the amount of waste to be packed in one solidified body.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a solidified body includes a compression process compressing waste 6, a constraint process constraining the waste 6 in a compressed state, and a solidification process forming a solidified body 1 an aggregate of which is the waste 6 by hardening a surface of the constrained waste 6 with a solidifying material 11. Since the waste 6 is reduced in its volume by being compressed, the amount of the waste 6 to be packed in one solidified body 1 can be increased compared with the case of hardening the waste 6 as it is by solidifying material 11, and a manufacturing cost and a materials management cost of solidified body 1 can be reduced when the waste 6 such as debris of a certain amount is processed. Moreover, contribution to the shortage of treatment plant places of waste 6 can be also expected. |
