PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head that includes a more effective compliance part, and to provide a liquid ejection apparatus.SOLUTION: A liquid ejection head includes a compliance part 40-42 constituted of a chemical gel and disposed in a reservoir chamber 100, wherein the chemical gel is variable in volume when being subjected to pressure, thereby having vibration suppressive effect. Accordingly, when a pressure wave generated in a pressure generation chamber 12 propagates to the reservoir chamber 100, the compliance part 40-42 constituted of the chemical gel is subjected to a pressure change and changes the volume thereof to damp the pressure wave. |
