PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel polyradical compound having stable radical groups and affinity to electrolyte solutions without eluting in the same, capable of being used for electricity storage devices and the like and inexpensively and efficiently produced. SOLUTION: The radical compound comprises at least one kind of structural unit (X) selected from the group consisting of general formulae (i), (ii) and (iii) and at least one kind of structural unit (Y) which is a 3-6 valent group selected from the group consisting of general formulae (viii) and (ix), wherein the both structural units are chemically bonded.
