PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which surely avoids a processing result which is not intended by a user. SOLUTION: A priority determining part 27 determines whether setting designated by an inputted execution request is made effective, or setting set in image data stored in an image storing part is made effective. A control part 21 selectively switches a mode to receive the setting designated by the inputted execution request and a mode not to receive this setting according to the determination result by the priority determining part 27, and makes a printing part 22 or the like execute image forming processing.
