PURPOSE: A detent function auto tuning system in construction machinery is provided to improve the safety of construction machinery by accurately positioning a detent. CONSTITUTION: A detent function auto tuning system in construction machinery comprises a bucket angle sensor (10), a boom angle sensor (20), an electronic hydraulic controller (30), and an automatic tuning controller. The automatic tuning controller automatically moves a bucket (1) and a boom (2) into a mechanical limitation position to perform a relevant tuning step using the electronic hydraulic controller when an automatic tuning command signal is applied; determines a relevant position on the basis of the output values of a bucket angle sensor and a boom angle sensor; and setting the position as the tuning information of a relevant detent function.
