PURPOSE: A machine tool is provided to prevent an operator of a machine tool from putting one hand into a processing room while the operator is manipulating a momentary switch or an operation button with the other hand, thereby securing high safety. CONSTITUTION: A machine tool (1) comprises an outer surface (110), a lighting unit (150), an interlocking unit (U1), a momentary switch (SW1) and a cancelation unit (U2). The interlocking unit puts a limit on or prohibits the operation of a processing unit when an interlock condition is established. The momentary switch is installed at the lighting unit. The cancelation unit is able to cancel either the limit or prohibition of the interlocking unit when the momentary switch is momentarily operated. |
