PURPOSE: A disc brake is provided to perform smooth braking power by obtaining a gap between a disc and a pad plate. CONSTITUTION: A disc brake (100) comprise a caliper housing (120), a carrier, a pair of pad plates (111,112), an adjuster (130), a pull-rod (140), a support member (150), a spring case (160), and an elastic member. The caliper housing includes a piston moving forwards and backwards by brake fluid pressure. The carrier is fixed to a vehicle body, and the caliper housing is connected to the carrier in order to slide. A pair of the pad plates is installed in the carrier in order to slide to the disc. The adjuster prevents the pad plates from being separated from the disc and maintains fixed intervals. The pull-rod is screw-connected with the adjuster. The support member is connected to the caliper housing and supports the pull-rod. The spring case forms a predetermined accommodation space between the support member and the pull-rod. The elastic member is installed in the spring case and comprises a low pressure spring (170) and a high pressure spring (180). |
