PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a tension to an armoring wire of a connection after protecting the connection of a cable body against damage due to high heat during welding, while reducing the labor and time required for connection of the armoring wire.SOLUTION: The armoring wire 13 of one cable is inserted into the groove 5 of a first cylindrical member 1 and each armoring wire 13 is fixed thereto by welding. The armoring wire 14 of the other cable is inserted into the groove 5 of a second cylindrical member 2 and each armoring wire 14 is fixed thereto by welding. An annular protrusion 8 of the first cylindrical member 1 is fitted in the annular recess 9 of the second cylindrical member 2, and the flanges 6, 6 of both cylindrical members are fastened by fastening members 3, 4 in the direction bringing them close to each other, thus coupling both cylindrical members 1, 2 and applying a tension to the armoring wires 13, 14 of both cables. |
