PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: translucent tablets are different in transparency depending on its kind, and it is difficult to set an appropriate threshold between a brightness distribution of the translucent tablet and that of an opaque tablet.SOLUTION: A tablet checking device 11 includes: a placing part (guide part 24) where a medicine pack 21 with translucent tablets 26 housed therein is placed; a lighting part 13 that irradiates the medicine pack 21 with diffusion light or parallel light; an imaging part (camera 12) for imaging the medicine pack 21 irradiated with the light from the lighting part 13; an image processing part 15 that generates a difference image 43 from a diffusion-light transmission image 41 of the medicine pack 21 irradiated with the diffusion light and a parallel-light transmission image 42 of the medicine pack 21 irradiated with the parallel light; and a checking part 16 that checks the tablets in the medicine pack 21 on the basis of the difference image 43 generated in the image processing part 15. |
