PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device of a rotary electric machine including improvement measures which improves fatigue life and lubrication life of a rolling bearing included in the rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: In a bearing device of a rotary electric machine equipped with a grease sealing type rolling bearing 7, a heater 9 is attached to a housing 8 supporting an outer ring 7a of the bearing 7 and the heater 9 is subject to energization control so that an outer ring temperature of the rolling bearing 7 becomes equal to an inner ring temperature during the operation of the rotary electric machine. Specifically, a temperature sensor 10 is disposed in the housing 8 as temperature detection means of the outer ring 7a of the bearing 7, and the heater 9 is subject to the energization control conducted by comparing a temperature of an inner ring 7b that is obtained on the basis of a detection value of a rotational speed sensor 11 with a detection temperature of the temperature sensor 8. |
