PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas recirculation device capable of reducing a volume difference of new air flowing into each branched pipe when installing a heat exchanger to an aggregated pipe of an air intake manifold, related to the exhaust gas recirculation device.SOLUTION: As shown in Fig.2, each of internal passages 26a, 26b of a heat exchanger 24 is arranged so as to be inclined toward the side of an air intake pipe 16 at its inlet side. By this arrangement, a difference between a bending angle of a flow line of a first air cylinder #1 and a bending angle of a flow line of a second air cylinder #2 (or, a difference between a bending angle of a flow line of a third air cylinder #3 and a bending angle of a flow line of a fourth air cylinder #4) can be reduced. If the difference between the bending angles of the flow lines can be reduced, a passage resistance difference is reduced and a flow-in new-air volume difference can be reduced. By this, according to this embodiment, the flow-in new-air volume difference in a clearance between branched pipes 20a, 20b (or, clearance between branched pipes 20c, 20d) can be reduced, and thereby a brached-pipe difference of an EGR rate (internal EGR gas volume/(internal EGR volume+new-air volume)) can be reduced. |
