PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire that has simple constitution and can save electric power by turning off a light source when sufficient illuminance can be obtained with external light.SOLUTION: A light source section 19 has, for example, a plurality of LED modules. An illuminance sensor 16 detects illuminance of an irradiated surface (for example, a floor surface, a desk top, etc.) irradiated with light from the light source part 19 of a luminaire 100. An A/D conversion section 15 converts the illuminance (analog value) detected by the illuminance sensor 16 into a digital value, and outputs the converted digital value as an output value of the illuminance sensor 16 to a microcomputer 10. The microcomputer 10 determines whether the output value of the illuminance sensor 16 is equal to a maximum output value, and performs control to turn off the light source section 19 when determining that the output value is equal to the maximum output value. |
