PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface that allows a driver to make operations without dropping the gaze to the hand while supporting intuitive GUI operations in equipment operations during driving of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A interface system 100 for a driver of a vehicle comprises a touchscreen 120, a control module 118, and a display 106. The touchscreen 120 is located proximate to the driver of the vehicle, and is operated by the driver to generate a sensor signal. The control module 118 receives the sensor signal, initiates control of a vehicle function and generates a haptic feedback signal in response to the sensor signal. The touchscreen 120 receives the haptic feedback signal and provides the haptic feedback to the driver in response thereto. The display 106 is disposed in a display panel of the vehicle and provides information on a vehicle function controlled by operations of the driver on the touchscreen 120.
