PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device which suppresses generation of dead space in a disposed part, omits waste of space, and has high layout efficiency.SOLUTION: A light source device 10 includes a primary light source unit 20 and a light conversion unit 40. The primary light source unit 20 has a primary light emission part 25 for emitting primary light to the light conversion unit 40. The light conversion unit 40 includes a light conversion member 41 for converting an optical property of the primary light by being irradiated with the primary light and generating secondary light different from the primary light, and a secondary light emission part 43 for emitting the secondary light. In a two-dimensional shape of the secondary light emission part 43 projected to a surface vertical to an optical axis of the primary light, a length of the shortest width of the two-dimensional shape passing through the centroid of the two-dimensional shape and a length of the longest width of the two-dimensional shape passing through the centroid are different. |
