PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the unification of striking order in bi-directional print and the speedup of monochrome print with simpler head configuration.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a recording head 14 having a first nozzle row and a second nozzle row. One of k-th (1≤k≤p-1) nozzle groups in a conveying direction of the first nozzle row and the second nozzle row ejects the liquid droplet of a specific kind (K), and the other ejects the liquid droplet of a kind other than the specific kind. In one direction of a reciprocating direction, a control means ejects the liquid droplet from the nozzles included in: the nozzle group that ejects the liquid droplet of the kind other than the specific kind; and the nozzle group that ejects the liquid droplet of the specific kind firstly and secondarily in the conveying direction. In the other direction thereof, the control means ejects the liquid droplet from the nozzles included in the nozzle group that ejects the liquid droplet of the kind other than the specific kind. |
