PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a developing roller carry developer in an even thickness.SOLUTION: A developing device 60 comprises: a developing roller 62 which carries developer; a housing 61 which supports the developing roller; a deflection-deformable blade 110 which is supported by the housing 61 and extends in the axis direction of the developing roller 62; and a regulating member 111 which is arranged on a first surface (internal surface 110A) of the blade 110 opposite to the developing roller 62 in the downstream side of the rotation direction of the developing roller 62 and regulates the layer thickness of the developer by contacting with the developing roller 62. The blade 110 has a through hole 113 for a material constituting the regulating part 111 to be inserted, and the through hole 113 is formed in a central range of equally divided three ranges of the blade 110 along its longitudinal direction. Alternatively, the through hole 113 can be formed in a range where one of end reinforcement parts 122 formed at both ends of a reinforcement plate 120 is arranged along the longitudinal direction of the blade 110. |
