This filter device is provided with: a casing (1) having a fluid inflow chamber (8), a filter chamber (10), and a drain chamber (12) in the interior of a hermetically-sealed space; a cylindrical filter element (2) which is disposed in the interior of the filter chamber and which filters a fluid by passing the fluid from the inside to the outside; a backwashing slide member (3) which is disposed in the interior of the filter element so as to be able to move in a reciprocating manner and which peels off a captured substance attached to the inner circumferential surface of the filter element by means of the inward flow generated by means of the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the filter element during backwashing; a backwashing pipe (4) which allows the inward flow generated at the backwashing slide member to flow out towards the drain chamber; an actuation cylinder (5) for enabling the fluid from the backwashing pipe to flow towards the drain chamber; and a fluid circulation means (6) for circulating the fluid such that a piston member (20) for the backwashing pipe can move in a reciprocating manner within the actuation cylinder. |
