PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner with higher safety, which can receive power both in an indoor unit and an outdoor unit without requiring a special operation such as changing over a switch of an installation worker, and which can solve a problem of generation of a power supply voltage in a plug of an indoor power supply cord when the outdoor unit receives the power.SOLUTION: An air conditioner is configured in such a manner that: when commercial power supplied to either an indoor unit or an outdoor unit is received in the indoor unit side, the power is supplied through a connection cable connecting the indoor unit and the outdoor unit, from the indoor side to an AC-DC converter, a blower and a refrigerant compressor motor in the outdoor side; and when the power is received in the outdoor unit side, the power is supplied through the connection cable connecting the indoor unit and the outdoor unit, from the outdoor side to an AC-DC converter and a blower in the indoor side. |
