In the present invention, a tap (1004) that is a power consumption measurement unit operating as a router transmits via a relay unit (1001) to a tablet terminal (1008) power information representing power consumption in a connected household appliance on the basis of report conditions set by means of the tablet terminal (1008). The report conditions are stored in the volatile memory of the tap (1004). The tablet terminal (1008) receives from the relay unit (1001) a node state change notification that is on the basis of a device answer transmitted from the tap (1004) on the basis of the fact that after halting the supply of power to the tap (1004), the supply of power was restarted. The tablet terminal (1008) resets the report conditions with respect to the tap (1004) via the relay unit (1001) on the basis of having acquired the node state change notification.
