PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nut welding tool accurately positioning a through hole and a nut on a same axis, preventing the nut from being deformed by arc weld heat, and not requiring retapping work.SOLUTION: A nut welding tool 5 for holding a nut N on a workpiece W includes: a cylindrical fitting section 8 supported in a state fit into a through hole 4; nut holding pieces 9 arranged at the upper end of the fitting section 8, arranged so as to be inserted into a thread hole of the nut N, and disposed so as to be divided into a plurality of numbers in the peripheral direction with respective divided pieces arranged so as to be capable of opening/closing in the radial direction and holding the nut N from inside; an operation shaft 11 inserted into the fitting section 8 so as to be movable vertically, including a tapered section 10 for holding operation that opens/closes the nut holding pieces 9 in the upper part, expanding the nut holding pieces 9 by the tapered section 10 for holding operation at a downward moving position, and reducing the diameter of the nut holding pieces 9 at an upward moving position; and an actuator 12 that opens/closes the nut holding pieces 9 with the operation shaft 11 being made a position for moving vertically. |
