PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding container that can excellently maintain work efficiency when folding while enhancing strength against a compressive load in an assembled state into box shape regarding the folding container having an upper frame, a bottom plate, a pair of bending sidewalls and a pair of sidewalls and configured to be assembled in box shape.SOLUTION: A folding container 1 includes a rectangular upper frame 10, a pair of jump-up sidewalls 20 forming short-side side faces, a pair of bending sidewalls 30 forming long-side side faces, and a bottom base 60. Each bending sidewall 30 is formed by connecting a bending upper wall 40 fitted to the upper frame 10, to a bending lower wall 50 fitted to the bottom base 60, through sidewall hinges 31. The bending sidewall 30 has a recess at a portion that faces the side end face of the jump-up sidewall 20 when assembling the folding container 1 into box shape. When a compressive load is applied to the folding container 1, the side end face of the jump-up sidewall 20 enters the recess to oppose the compressive load. |
