PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alcohol concentration estimation device capable of compensating variation in temperature characteristics of an alcohol concentration sensor, wherein the present invention relates to the alcohol concentration estimation device.SOLUTION: A sensor output of a capacitive detection part in an inspection point on a production process line of an alcohol concentration sensor is stored as reference capacitance (step 110). In a step 120, when it is determined that an internal combustion engine 10 is stopped, an ECU 14 stores sensor output values detected by the capacitive detection part and a temperature detection part of the alcohol concentration sensor 12 (steps 130, 140). An approximation formula is established by using the sensor output values stored in the steps 110, 140, 150, and an alcohol concentration estimation relational formula established with reference to a nominal product is replaced with the approximation formula (step 160). |
