<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail unit capable of holding glass so as not to come off even if the glass is broken. <P>SOLUTION: The handrail unit has a plurality of posts provided at spaces from one another; an upper chord member extended over the plurality of posts and having a storage part opened downward; the glass treated for scatter prevention, with the upper end stored in the storage part of the upper chord member; beads interposed between the upper chord member and the glass and blocking the storage part together with the glass from the lower side to form partitioned spaces in the storage part; and an adhesive for bonding the upper chord member, glass and beads in the spaces. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
