The device (33) has a body (40) longitudinally extending between two ends and defining a passage for strands (34, 35) of a lace (26). A locking unit cooperates with the passage for blocking or releasing each strand of the lace. The passage extends longitudinally from an end opening to another end opening. The passage includes a longitudinal opening extending from the former end opening to the latter end opening. The longitudinal opening leads to a side of the body to allow introduction or release of the strand in the passage according to transverse direction of the device. |
