PURPOSE: An effective food waste treating method is provided to comprise calcium oxide so that a reacting heat is generated by the reaction between the water of the food waste and calcium oxide and the water is removed from the food waste and the dried food waste is used right away as fertilizer. CONSTITUTION: An effective food waste treating method comprises the following steps. 500g of calcium oxide for 1000g of food waste which is collected as the first step is put into a reacting bath and mixed so that the water of the food waste and the calcium oxide are reacted generating high heat. The heat dries the food waste. The dried food waste is put into a drying device and heated at 100-200°c. The dried food is pulverized in a pulverizing device to manufacture fertilizer and feed additives.
