摘要 PURPOSE: A display method using photonic crystals and a device thereof are provided to increase the intensity of reflected light generated by the difference of the refractive indexes between the solution and the particle. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of particles is charged as the electric charge of the same reference number. Light transmitting solution including the plurality of the particles is charged between the surfaces of a transparent electrode. Reflected light is controlled by controlling the interval between the particle gaps according to power supplied from the outside. Visible transmissivity is used for the particle and the light transmitting solution which are over 50%. The refractive index difference of the particle and the light transmitting solution is over 0.1.
